TCO LIMITED EDITION SLIMES BY @SOMEOTHERSLIME
Welcome to Broadway Crafts! I’m Sasha, a friend of everyone over at the TCO Podcast! After one of my delightful playdates with Patrick and Daisy, we decided to bring you all some special TCO themed slimes. Below you will find information about each one, as well as care instructions for those who aren’t slime-knowledgable yet. Don’t worry, you’ll get there!
Before we start, let me dispel the rumor that slime is just for kids. It SO isn’t. It’s got massive therapeutic properties, plus it’s just fun! Grab hold of yours and relieve some of the stress brought on by the thought that we could be kidnapped at any moment—yikes! Oh, also, these are 100% allergen free and skin safe. The scents are synthetic, so allergies won’t be an issue.
WHAT SLIME DID YOU GET?
GARBAGE BELLE: Garbage Belle is a soft putty, pigmented gold to match the bell, and scented like caramel. It’s a clear based slime!
Rabia, How…?: Since Rabia is basically our queen, “Rabia, How…?” is a butter slime, which means it is a clay based slime, soft and delightful. This particular one smells like chai tea (because duh!).
Minty Fresh?! That’s My Drag Name!: Kinda looks like toothpaste, right? It’s minty fresh, too! This slime texture is more or less a combo of the above two, which is extra fun!
How Do I Care for My Slime?
Great question! It can be played with right out of the container, but it’s a good idea to wash your hands in cold water first so that it doesn’t stick to you at all. Warm hands can melt slime! If, over time, it gets a touch sticky, just mix 1/2 tsp of borax with hot water and add little drops of that solution into it until it’s not sticky anymore. Don’t worry, borax isn’t harmful, it’s in TONS of household products and is slime’s best friend!
If your butter slime ever starts to feel stiff (this is normal!) just add a touch of unscented lotion, or some glue! It’ll pop right back :)
That said, slime isn’t forever, if you play with it often, it will shrink overtime, but there’s always more where this came from!
